Exhausted

I must have been exhausted. Into bed at 6:45 I went last night. Stayed there in a drugged sort of haze until midnight. Checked e-mail, Facebook, etc. Brushed my teeth, washed my face. Whined about being hungry but knew I shouldn't indulge in the middle of the night. Back to bed at 1am and still tired enough to sleep until 8am this morning. Amazing. I wasn't late for work - don't worry. Doctor is out of town so I can go in late if I like. And I do like. I wonder what it would feel like to be totally refreshed, with no trace of sleepiness. I had hoped my medication would give me that.
